How Frameshift Credits Work

Running powerful AI video models takes serious compute. Instead of offering "unlimited" plans that secretly throttle your speed, we use a transparent credit system.

•1 Credit = 1 Unit of Compute. Different tasks use different amounts of credits. You'll always see the estimated cost on Create Video before you commit.
•Render tiers. Draft (Ken Burns/stock), Economy (Seedance 2.5 at 720p), Standard (Seedance 2.5 1080p when available), Premium (same as Standard plus 10 credits for priority). Economy ignores the 1080p picker. 2.5 bills 30 credits/s at 720p or 68 credits/s at 1080p with an 80-credit minimum, then our fee and tax are folded into the rounded total.
•Where it runs. The CutLab UI is on Vercel; generation APIs run on Railway — your tier choice is sent with the job.

Photoreal faces and some brand art can skip Seedance (you get a Ken Burns zoom of the same photo). Tiny baked-in text often warps. Leave the photo off if you want the brief to choose the picture first.

Why credits instead of unlimited generation?

AI video models are incredibly resource-intensive. A credit system allows us to offer access to the absolute best models without compromising on speed or quality. It means you get what you pay for, and we can keep the servers running smoothly for everyone.

Will there be bigger plans for agencies or high-volume creators?
